According to the exit poll conducted on the 15th, in Dongnam-gap, Democratic Party candidate Yoon Young-deok secured 71.4%, surpassing Minsheng Party candidate Jang Byung-wan, who was seeking a final fourth term, with 26.0%.
In Dongnam-eul, Democratic Party candidate Lee Byung-hoon obtained 70.9%, comfortably outpacing independent candidate Kim Seong-hwan, who received 16.3%.
In Seogu-gap, incumbent Democratic Party candidate Song Gap-seok was expected to receive 77.8%, while Minsheng Party candidate Kim Myung-jin was at 13.2%.
In the rematch district Seogu-eul, Democratic Party candidate Yang Hyang-ja was surveyed at 73.8%, with seven-term candidate Chun Jung-bae at 20.9%.
In Bukgu-gap, considered the most fiercely contested area in Gwangju, Democratic Party candidate Jo O-seop secured 56.6%, ultimately leading independent candidate Kim Kyung-jin, who had 38.9%.
In Bukgu-eul, Democratic Party candidate Lee Hyung-seok was leading with 76.2%, ahead of Minsheng Party candidate Choi Kyung-hwan at 11.3%.
In Gwangsan-gap, Democratic Party candidate Lee Yong-bin recorded 76.9%, while Minsheng Party candidate Kim Dong-cheol had 13.1%.
In Gwangsan-eul, Democratic Party candidate Min Hyung-bae had 79.7%, and Minsheng Party candidate Noh Seung-il had 9.2%.
Meanwhile, the joint exit poll for the April 15 general election by the three broadcasters was conducted by three survey organizations?Korea Research, Korea Research, and Ipsos Co., Ltd.?targeting approximately 510,000 people at 2,321 polling stations nationwide on the day.
