In particular, furniture sales increased by 59.2% year-on-year, and ‘Pishon,’ a lifestyle select shop focused on accessories, rose by 17.7%. With the recent increase in telecommuting, ‘Casamia’s’ home office furniture recorded a 54% sales growth in March compared to last year.
Tableware also gained popularity, with sales increasing by 15% compared to last year. Among these, premium dishware sales rose by 44% year-on-year.
Meanwhile, Shinsegae Department Store is showcasing home-stay products tailored to four themes?‘Living Room for Newlyweds,’ ‘Living Room for Middle-aged Couples,’ ‘Living Room for Families with Children,’ and ‘Bedroom for Perfect Relaxation’?at the living category event ‘Maison de Shinsegae’ until the 19th.
Additionally, to enjoy abundant home parties comparable to restaurants even at home, the department store is sharing seasonal food recipes. On the 24th, a smart message sent to Shinsegae customers will include menus made with seasonal ingredients such as jjukkumi (webfoot octopus) and flower crab. Related ingredient discount coupons will also be provided.
