[Asia Economy Reporter Hyunju Lee] On the 15th, the day of the 21st National Assembly election, the weather will be mostly clear nationwide, with the highest daytime temperature around 20 degrees Celsius, making it mild.
The Korea Meteorological Administration forecasted the highest daytime temperatures today as 21°C in Seoul, 17°C in Incheon, 23°C in Daejeon, 22°C in Daegu, and 19°C in Busan. Some areas in Gangwon Yeongseo and Gyeongsangnam-do will see temperatures rise to 24°C, resulting in somewhat warmer weather.
During the day, the weather will be clear and mild, but the temperature difference between day and night will be large, so attention to clothing is necessary. The lowest morning temperatures will range from 1°C to 12°C nationwide, including 8°C in Seoul, with some inland areas expected to experience a temperature difference of more than 15°C between day and night. The weather will remain clear nationwide until the 16th, but rain is expected in most areas on the 17th. Rain will also begin nationwide on Sunday the 19th and continue until Monday morning of the following week.
Fine dust levels are expected to be 'moderate' across all regions. However, Seoul and Gyeonggi will temporarily experience 'bad' levels in the morning, and southern Gyeonggi and Chungbuk are expected to have 'bad' levels at night.
