[Public Notice+] JMI "ForwardMedi CEO Appointed as Outside Director at General Meeting"

[Asia Economy Reporter Hyunseok Yoo] JMI announced on the 20th that it will appoint the CEO of ForwardMedi, a space sterilization specialist company, as an outside director at the shareholders' meeting on the 27th.

At this shareholders' meeting, JMI will address agenda items including ▲approval of the 2019 financial statements ▲partial amendment of the articles of incorporation ▲appointment of inside and outside directors.

ForwardMedi is the company that developed the space sterilizer 'STR-Solution.' The STR-Solution sterilizes spaces using atmospheric diffusion rather than purifying air with filters or plasma.

Through atmospheric diffusion tests conducted with a nationally certified sterilization testing institution (GLP), ForwardMedi confirmed a 99% sterilization effect against the novel flu (H1N1) outbreak in 2009 and the MERS (Middle East Respiratory Syndrome) virus in 2015.

A company official stated, "After appointing new management, we will pursue various promising businesses," and added, "We will seek business synergy with ForwardMedi, the only domestic company with atmospheric diffusion-based space sterilization technology."
