Launch of the Lighter Premium Vacuum Cleaner 'LG CordZero A9S ThinQ'

Models are introducing the new premium cordless vacuum cleaner, 'LG CordZero A9S ThinQ,' which is lighter and more convenient.

[Asia Economy Reporter Dongwoo Lee] LG Electronics announced on the 20th that it will officially launch its new premium cordless vacuum cleaner, the 'LG CordZero A9S ThinQ,' on the 21st.

The new product weighs approximately 2.57 kg, which is more than 100g lighter than before, based on the combination of the main body and the floor nozzle. The thickness of the nozzle has been reduced to 55 mm, allowing cleaning in narrow spaces such as under furniture gaps. Using two detachable high-capacity batteries can extend the usage time up to 120 minutes.

The new product also enhances management functions. The easy emptying system sweeps dust around the filter inside the dustbin when the user presses the lever next to the handle.

This product displays not only when to clean the filter based on vacuum usage but also whether the nozzle is clogged due to foreign substances. When connected with the LG ThinQ app, customers can check their past cleaning records. Using the smart diagnosis function, users can also identify the causes of vacuum malfunctions and find solutions.

The new product retains the advantages of the existing LG CordZero A9. When the poweredrive mop nozzle, dedicated for mopping, is attached, the vacuum cleaner can perform both dust suction and mopping with a single device. The 'automatic water supply system' keeps the mop moist to prevent drying and allows users to select from three water supply levels?stop, level 1, and level 2?depending on the cleaning method or floor material.

Equipped with a five-stage fine dust filtration system including a HEPA filter, it blocks 99.999% of fine dust from being released outside the product. Additionally, this product can be stored on a dedicated charging stand. The charging stand allows simultaneous storage of the main body and nozzles, maximizing space utilization.

The new product won the 'iF Design Award 2020,' a globally prestigious design award organized by the German International Forum Design. The iF Design Award is regarded as one of the world's top three design awards alongside the Red Dot Design Award and IDEA.
