Early Morning Heavy Snow Advisory for Northern Gyeonggi on the 16th

[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Min-young] Heavy snow is forecast to fall in the northern Gyeonggi region in the early hours of Sunday, the 16th.

The Seoul Metropolitan Weather Administration announced on the 15th that a heavy snow advisory will be issued for Gapyeong, Namyangju, Guri, Paju, Uijeongbu, Yangju, Goyang, Pocheon, Yeoncheon, Dongducheon, Gimpo, and Bucheon in Gyeonggi Province at dawn on the 16th.

The Weather Administration expects 1 to 5 cm of snow to fall mainly in the central region between midnight and noon on the 16th.

The Weather Administration emphasized, "Roads will be slippery in many places due to accumulated rain or snow freezing," and urged "special caution for traffic safety."

The lowest temperature on the morning of the 16th is forecast to be between 0 and 1 degrees Celsius. The mercury will remain between 0 and 1 degrees Celsius even at midday. With strong winds, the wind chill temperature will feel colder, ranging from minus 6 to minus 3 degrees Celsius.
