[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Seung-jin] Gomi Corporation, a Vietnam-based online shopping mall specialized platform company, is launching an offensive in Southeast Asia.

On the 9th, Gomi Corporation announced that it has signed a contract to enter the e-commerce markets of Vietnam and Thailand with Cellreturn, which is leading the domestic LED mask market with actors Lee Min-ho, Park Seo-joon, and Kang So-ra as models.

Gomi Corporation, having perfectly established the customer order processing system locally in Vietnam, plans to increase Cellreturn's market preemption probability by utilizing 24-hour responsive customer service personnel.

Through collaboration with card companies and banks in Vietnam, Gomi Corporation will attempt, for the first time among domestic companies, to offer a 24-month installment payment service targeting VIP customers for Cellreturn’s relatively high sales amount.

Jung Woo-jin, CMO in charge of overseas marketing at Gomi Corporation, stated, “Cellreturn, aiming to achieve annual sales of 100 billion KRW in Vietnam and Thailand, plans to establish its brand as a sustainable business rather than a temporary sale by combining branded content, performance advertising, and marketing through a comprehensive advertising strategy with Gomi.”

Meanwhile, Gomi Corporation is the leading company operating open market platforms such as 11st and Coupang in Vietnam and Thailand. It provides not only sales of domestic companies’ products but also corporate establishment, permits, distribution, marketing, sales, and local logistics services.

Within one year of its establishment, it has grown into the largest online shopping mall specialized platform in Vietnam, hosting over 60 brands including Cellreturn, Amorepacific, Duoback, and AHEADS.
