Coca-Cola's world No.1 fruit and vegetable juice beverage brand 'Minute Maid' announced on the 29th that it has selected 'Pengsu' as its brand model to capture the hearts of the millennial generation in the new year 2020. Pengsu will start activities as the brand model beginning with the advertisement for the refreshing fruit juice drink containing jelly recently launched by Minute Maid, 'Minute Maid Kokogumi Pineapple.'


Pengsu is gaining popularity among millennials as the 'President of Office Workers' due to his anti-authoritarian and candid talk. Pengsu's YouTube channel 'Giant Peng TV' has started to attract attention among netizens, recently surpassing 1.99 million subscribers. Coca-Cola's Minute Maid plans to approach consumers more familiarly through Pengsu's charm of communicating with fans like a friend rather than a fictional character.

Minute Maid is a brand that accompanies consumers' daily lives by releasing products reflecting people's lives and trends and proposing a new form of beverage culture. The fruit juice drink 'Minute Maid Kokogumi Pineapple,' which is the first collaboration between Minute Maid and Pengsu, was launched targeting consumers who want new flavors and trendy drinks. It contains chewy nata de coco (coconut jelly) that allows you to enjoy the refreshing taste of pineapple and the pleasure of chewing simultaneously, and uses a design that playfully expresses popping illustrations.

To welcome the new year 2020, Minute Maid plans to conduct various events along with airing advertisements through content that can target the tastes of millennial consumers together with Pengsu.”
