Yang Hyang-ja Preliminary Candidate Visits Senior Center for Lunar New Year’s New Year’s Bow Ceremony 'Sebae'

[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Yoon Jamin] Yang Hyang-ja, the Democratic Party preliminary candidate for the National Assembly election in Seo-gu (Eul), Gwangju Metropolitan City, visited senior centers in Hwajeong 3-dong and Pungam-dong on the 20th.

Preliminary candidate Yang, along with City Councilor Song Hyung-il (Hwajeong 3·4-dong, Pungam-dong), had sincere conversations with the elderly at the venue, listening to their difficulties and suggestions.

Candidate Yang said, "I am grateful to be welcomed like family, like an eldest daughter, ahead of the holidays," and added, "I will continue to meet the elderly as if they were my parents and check if there are any inconveniences."

She also stated, "I will strive to create a village community where the elderly are respected and happy."

Candidate Yang plans to visit local senior centers again on the 23rd to pay New Year's greetings and listen to further suggestions.
