Discussion on Policy Directions, Including Viewing of AI-Based Future Video Reflecting Local Characteristics

To commemorate the 30th anniversary of Yangsan's elevation to city status, Yangsan City held the "Future Dialogue with Yangsan Citizens," an event where citizens and experts came together to discuss the future of Yangsan and the tasks that lie ahead.

The event, which took place on November 6 at the Business Center Convention Hall, was attended by more than 50 Yangsan citizens and experts, who engaged in passionate discussions about the future strategic direction of the city.

This Future Dialogue broke away from traditional, rigid discussion formats and adopted a new approach that encouraged greater citizen participation. In particular, through "future immersion content"-an AI-based video reflecting the unique characteristics of the region-participants were able to vividly experience and share a vision for the future that Yangsan should pursue, fostering a sense of consensus.

Through three rounds of discussion-debating issues of the past and present, experiencing future immersion, and identifying policy tasks for realizing the preferred future-participants identified specific policy agendas for the future that citizens desire.

Mayor Na Dongyeon emphasized, "For our city to continue developing as a strategic hub leading cooperation among Gyeongnam, Busan, and Ulsan, it is crucial to have a long-term perspective and strategy. I hope this forum serves as a valuable opportunity to discover practical, citizen-led policy agendas."
