RISE Project Group Hosts "Machine Learning Training Camp" as Part of K-U City Initiative
Enhancing Experience in Machine Learning, a Core Field of Artificial Intelligence (AI) Technology
The RISE Project Group at Kumoh National Institute of Technology (Acting Director Kwon Ohyeong) held a "Machine Learning Training Camp" at the Gyeongju Kyowon Dream Center from November 6 to 7.
This two-day, one-night program was offered to 20 current students and focused intensively on both the theoretical and practical aspects of machine learning-a core field within artificial intelligence (AI) technology.
In particular, the curriculum was designed to strengthen practical skills required in the defense industry by featuring hands-on sessions in data preprocessing and modeling centered around major machine learning algorithms. In addition, students gained experience in data-driven decision-making through team-based projects utilizing real-world datasets.
