Sangmyung University President Kim Jonghee Attends "National Conference of Girl Scout Leaders"

Sangmyung University announced that President Kim Jonghee, who also serves as President of the Korea Girl Scouts Federation, participated in the "79th Anniversary National Conference of Girl Scout Leaders of the Korea Girl Scouts Federation" held on the 31st of last month at Songdo Central Park Hotel in Incheon.

At this event hosted by the Korea Girl Scouts Federation, a variety of programs took place under the theme "Opening the Future, Girl Scouts." These included the 79th anniversary ceremony, an awards ceremony, a performance by the Incheon Chorokbyeoldae, a congratulatory stage featuring the Incheon City Boys and Girls Choir and bass singer Jo Juhwan, a performance by the Eunyul Talchum Preservation Society’s youth group, and a show by the Girl Scouts senior choir, the Majungmul Choir.

BK Ahn, Director of the Korea Institute of Philanthropy, delivered a special lecture on "Girl Scouts in the Era of Transition from DX to AX." He used AI analysis to assess the current status of the Federation and proposed strategies to revitalize the organization.

The Korea Girl Scouts Federation, as the only movement in Korea dedicated to girls and young women, holds the annual National Leaders Conference to encourage leaders who are at the forefront of social education nationwide, strengthen their capabilities, and foster bonds through mutual exchange.
