Unicore Robotics showcased its autonomous personal mobility device 'Nurigo', patrol robot 'Jigigo', and real-time autonomous driving technology based on its integrated operating system 'UNI-OS'.
UNI-OS integrates sensor data fusion, artificial intelligence (AI) decision-making, and precision control functions into a single platform, enabling robots to independently perceive their environment and plan and navigate optimal routes. In particular, by combining LiDAR and cameras with AI-based SLAM technology, it enhances obstacle detection and avoidance capabilities, ensuring stable movement even in complex indoor and outdoor environments.
Through the national project 'Development of Design for Hyper-Personalized Personal Mobility Services', Unicore Robotics is also advancing user-customized autonomous driving technologies. The company is developing AI modules that provide personalized driving based on user movement patterns, purposes, and environmental data, and is expanding the application of autonomous driving algorithms that actively learn from and adapt to individual mobility experiences.
Kang Changmook, CEO of Unicore Robotics and Professor of Electrical Engineering at Hanyang University, stated, "Autonomous driving is no longer limited to the automotive industry but is expanding into personal mobility and public services as a whole. Through AI control technology, we aim to create a mobility environment where everyone can move freely."
