Iranian Delegation Meets with Pakistani Prime Minister... Details of Negotiations Coordinated
Iran's state-run IRIB reported on April 11 (local time) that the Iranian delegation met with Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif in Islamabad, Pakistan, prior to negotiations with the United States.
Iran's Tasnim News Agency also reported that Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, Speaker of the Iranian Parliament, and Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi, who are leading the Iranian delegation, met with Prime Minister Sharif.
According to the Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi, in a phone conversation with German Foreign Minister Johann Badefuhl the previous day, criticized the United States, stating, "Due to repeated breaches of promises and diplomatic betrayal by the United States, Iran has complete mistrust toward the negotiations."

Tasnim News Agency dismissed some reports that four countries—China, Russia, Saudi Arabia, and Qatar—were invited to the negotiating venue in Islamabad, clarifying that this is not true, and emphasized that the negotiations will proceed with only the United States and Iran participating.
