This award is the most prestigious in the field of social networking services (SNS) in Korea, hosted by the Korea Social Content Promotion Association and sponsored by the Ministry of Science and ICT, among others. Award recipients are selected through a comprehensive evaluation of public institutions' and companies' SNS performance, based on expert reviews and data analysis.

This year, with 118 institutions from across the country participating, Pyeongtaek City received high marks for delivering municipal news in an easy and engaging manner tailored to citizens' perspectives, as well as for its proactive communication efforts.

Pyeongtaek City Mayor Jung Jangsun stated, "This award is especially meaningful as it recognizes that Pyeongtaek City's SNS has evolved beyond a simple promotional tool to become a platform for administrative communication with citizens. We will continue to listen to the voices of our citizens and strive to become a communication-centered city that widely promotes the many charms of Pyeongtaek."
