Over 20 Core Technologies Showcased Exclusively for Automaker Clients
Hyundai Mobis has participated in Europe's largest mobility show, 'IAA Mobility 2025,' taking its first major step to target the European market in earnest. The company unveiled next-generation core technologies, including electrification and electronic components, at a dedicated booth for its automaker clients, aiming to convert these showcases into component orders.
On September 8 (local time), Hyundai Mobis opened its private booth at 'IAA Mobility 2025' in Munich, Germany, to the Korean press. For one week during the exhibition, Hyundai Mobis is operating a private booth for CEOs and purchasing managers from European automakers. The company has prepared tailored product presentations for global automaker clients, with the strategy of turning these into actual order results. More than 20 core technologies were exhibited at this event, spanning electrification, electronics, lamps, chassis, and safety sectors.
The Hyundai Mobis booth is located in Hall B2 of Messe Munich, an area primarily occupied by IT companies. Opposite and adjacent exhibition halls are filled with booths from major European automakers such as BMW, Mercedes-Benz, and Volkswagen. A company representative explained that the booth location was chosen to facilitate the natural flow of visitors and industry professionals who tour the automaker booths.

The highlight is the 'Integrated SDV (Software-Defined Vehicle) Solution,' which combines software platforms and hardware products, focusing on autonomous driving (Level 2+) and integrated parking controllers-areas where demand is growing in the European market. The company also prominently showcased its battery system portfolio, representing Hyundai Mobis’s capabilities in electrification, including battery systems for electric vehicles, hybrids, and plug-in hybrids.
In addition, Hyundai Mobis introduced innovative display and lamp technologies, including its futuristic digital cockpit, 'M.VICS 6.0.' M.VICS 6.0 features integrated control and a next-generation automotive infotainment platform, incorporating new technologies into the driver’s cockpit such as a holographic windshield display and a 'slidable display' that moves smoothly up and down.
Another key product exhibited by Hyundai Mobis is the Augmented Reality Head-Up Display (AR-HUD). This technology generates virtual 3D driving information at eye level above the hood, as seen from the driver's perspective through the windshield. A Hyundai Mobis representative stated, "The AR-HUD offers higher resolution and clarity compared to conventional LCDs, regardless of weather or driving conditions," and added, "At last month's CEO Investor Day, we already secured orders for this product from a major North American client, and we are developing it with the goal of mass production by 2028."
