On September 1, the project group held an opening ceremony for the "2025 Local Host (Space Production) Specialist Training Course" and announced that it will officially operate the 11-week program until November.

About 25 people, including project group officials and trainees, attended the opening ceremony, sharing the purpose and direction of the program and marking the first step in fostering regionally specialized professionals.

◆ Enhancing Regional Competitiveness through Space Production

The "Local Host Specialist Training Course" was established to enhance expertise in the field of space production by utilizing Andong's cultural and tourism resources, and to strengthen the competitiveness of self-employed individuals and prospective entrepreneurs.

The curriculum includes practical, hands-on programs such as space planning, store remodeling, production techniques, and consulting. It is designed to be immediately applicable to local commercial districts and the tourism industry.

The project group especially plans to select workers in the accommodation, food and beverage, and experience sectors as primary trainees, helping them provide differentiated tourism experiences through space design that reflects Andong’s unique characteristics.

◆ "Expecting Tangible Value for the Local Community"

An official from the Andong-Style Job Project Group stated, "Through this program, we hope trainees will plan and operate spaces that represent Andong, creating real value for the local community. We will continue to provide full support so that Andong-style jobs can become a new growth pillar in the cultural and tourism industries."

The training will continue until November 17, and detailed information can be found on the official website of the Andong-Style Job Project Group.

As Andong is a city where history and tradition are alive, the local branding through space production training is expected to have a significant ripple effect on the regional economy.
