Bonfire Studio, Founded by Former Blizzard Developers,
Finalizes Title of Team-Based PvP Game as "Arkheron"
Dreamage (formerly Hive IM) announced on August 8 that the title of the team-based PvP game "Project Torch," currently in development by Bonfire Studio, has been finalized as "Arkheron."
In January, Dreamage signed a publishing agreement with Bonfire Studio and secured the service rights for Korea and Japan.
"Arkheron" is an online team-based PvP game set in a dark and surreal world, featuring fresh and original competitive gameplay. Starting with the announcement of the official title, Dreamage and Bonfire Studio plan to reveal more details and showcase the first gameplay footage next month.
During the second half of this year, the companies will conduct various user tests, including a focus group test (FGT) for PC users in Asia, to further enhance the game's quality.
Jung Wooyong, CEO of Dreamage, stated, "'Arkheron' will deliver a new competitive experience where players' choices and creativity create strategies and battles in real time. We hope you look forward to the upcoming combat experience."
Meanwhile, Bonfire Studio was co-founded in 2016 by Rob Pardo, Nick Carpenter?who participated in global hits such as "StarCraft," "Overwatch," and "Diablo" at Blizzard?and Kim Min, former CEO of Nexon America.
