Mayor Oh Unseok Visits Dongbu Expressway?Dobong Station Exit Ramp Site Ahead of Opening

On April 24, Oh Unseok, the mayor of Dobong District, visited the newly constructed exit ramp connecting the Dongbu Expressway (toward Seongsu) to Dobong Station, following the completion of the final construction work.

The visit was made to conduct a final inspection of the safety and completion status of the road structure ahead of its official opening.

On site, Mayor Oh listened to a briefing from construction officials about the progress and carefully examined the facilities and road surface conditions.

Mayor Oh stated, "This new exit ramp is an important project that will resolve long-standing inconveniences for residents and improve local accessibility. We will prioritize safety and conduct thorough inspections until the very end to create a road environment where all residents can use it with peace of mind."

The exit ramp from the Dongbu Expressway (toward Seongsu) to Dobong Station was promoted to disperse traffic that had been concentrated at the Sanggye Bridge intersection. Construction began in 2022.
