It applies the Mark III membrane-type fuel tank from the French company GTT, securing a storage capacity of 6100㎥ while maximizing container loading capacity. It is also designed to comply with the International Maritime Organization's regulations on sulfur oxide and carbon dioxide emissions.
Previously, after re-entering the commercial ship market, HJ Heavy Industries successfully delivered all six 5500TEU-class methanol-ready container ships. The company evaluated that by safely delivering the first 7700TEU-class LNG dual-fuel container ship, it has reaffirmed its competitiveness in the eco-friendly container ship sector. HJ Heavy Industries expects that with the repeated construction effect of a total of 10 similar hulls, including the second ship and eight 7900TEU-class container ships, productivity and profitability will increase.
