Seoul Mayor Oh Se-hoon expressed concern, describing the riot caused by supporters of President Yoon Seok-yeol at the Western District Court as an 'act of destroying the rule of law.'
On the 19th, Mayor Oh stated on Facebook, "I express deep concern over the collective violent acts that occurred in the court," adding, "This is an act of destroying the rule of law that no citizen can accept and a serious challenge to legal order."
Earlier that day, around 3 a.m., after an arrest warrant was issued for President Yoon, his supporters entered the Seoul Western District Court, damaging property and committing acts of violence against the police, resulting in an illegal violent incident.
