Jangseong-gun, Jeollanam-do, is partnering with SK Forestry Co., Ltd. to discover and implement various forest industry initiatives.
On the 12th, Jangseong-gun announced that it signed a 'Forest Industry Business Agreement for Carbon Neutrality' with SK Forestry. Accordingly, the county and SK Forestry will promote policies to strengthen carbon neutrality through forests and ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) forest management.
County Governor Kim Han-jong stated, "We will continue proactive efforts to enhance the value of forest resources, including afforestation projects exceeding 100 hectares annually and various timber business initiatives."
