A car accident occurred in the area of Daechi Woosung Apartment Intersection in Daechi-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul, where a Mercedes-Benz passenger car driven by a woman in her 70s, Ms. A, collided with three vehicles in succession.

According to Yonhap News on the 2nd, that morning, Ms. A lightly touched one vehicle in an apartment complex in Daechi-dong, then rushed onto Yeongdong-daero intersecting with Dogok-ro, hitting two moving vehicles.

As a result of the accident, five people sustained minor injuries, and two of the vehicles that were hit were severely damaged.

Ms. A reportedly claimed sudden unintended acceleration to the police at the scene. There was no indication of alcohol consumption by Ms. A.
