Musinsa's discount event held in collaboration with SPA (manufacturing and distribution integration) brands achieved great success. It is interpreted that the event received positive responses from customers seeking reasonably priced products amid high inflation.


Musinsa announced on the 16th that the transaction amount of brands participating in the 'SPA Brand Grand Sale' held from the 8th to the 14th increased by 146% (about 2.5 times) compared to the same period last year. Fourteen representative SPA brands participated in this first event, offering about 7,000 products at discounts of up to 80%.

Among the SPA brands, ▲Spao ▲8Seconds ▲Giordano recorded daily transaction amounts exceeding 100 million KRW. This performance surpassed the SPA brand transaction amounts during the 'Mujinjang Summer Black Friday' held until the 3rd of this month. Brands such as ▲Mindbridge ▲Shoopen ▲TopTen also achieved transaction amounts exceeding 100 million KRW over the week.


In particular, the 'Mega Special Price' discounts on representative products from each brand, such as ▲Mindbridge Oxford Overfit Short Sleeve Shirt ▲Spao Heritage Short Sleeve T-shirt ▲Shoopen Basic Recovery Flip-flops ▲Giordano Cotton Pique Polo Short Sleeve T-shirt, led to high sales volumes. The 'Brand Day,' which spotlighted the brand offering the greatest benefits each day, also contributed to the increase in transaction amounts for participating brands.


In this event, short-sleeve T-shirts and casual shirts suitable for daily wear accounted for the highest sales proportion. Among them, the 'Giordano Cotton Pique Polo Short Sleeve T-shirt' sold more than 4,000 units.


A Musinsa representative said, "As customers aiming for reasonable consumption increase due to high inflation, this event, which added extra discount benefits to SPA brands, seems to have received greater attention," adding, "We will continue to offer various SPA brands with benefits on Musinsa."
