Naver is considering the introduction of Sunday delivery. This is to reduce the gap in delivery services with its e-commerce competitor Coupang.
On the 4th, Choi Soo-yeon, CEO of Naver, stated during the Q2 earnings conference call, "Sunday delivery has high satisfaction, so we plan to conclude the test and decide on its official introduction."
CEO Choi explained, "The area where we are at a disadvantage compared to Coupang is delivery," adding, "We will expand delivery competitiveness and differentiate through membership services, live commerce, and artificial intelligence (AI) solutions."
The 'Arrival Guarantee,' which informs shoppers of the arrival date of purchased products, is also showing significant results. CEO Choi said, "The number of stores offering Arrival Guarantee in Q2 increased 1.7 times compared to Q1," and "about 30% of sellers among all brand stores have adopted Arrival Guarantee."
