KARA to chat live online with fans

K-pop girl group KARA will hold an online live chatting event to increase their intimacy with fans.

The “STEP” singers have been picked up as the 11th host of Korea's social network service me2day’s star chatting--a popular event that opens a chatting room for stars and their fans--on September 6, according to DSP Media’s press release Friday.The five members will take turns to chat with selected fans, chosen from people who apply for the event through the smartphone application until next Tuesday. The list of selected fans will be announced on member Gu Hara's me2day account on September 5.

The official noted that KARA members, who just returned to the music scene after a year-long hiatus, are more than excited to have this great opportunity to communicate with their fans.

The group’s youngest member Kang Ji-young also posted a photo on her me2day account on Thursday that promotes the event, writing, “Let’s chat online,” bringing about an instant response from her fans.Composed of Gu Hara, Han Seung-yeon, Park Gyu-lee, Kang Ji-young and Nicole, KARA is currently promoting their fifth mini-album "PANDORA," released on August 22.
