An upcoming TV series starring top Korean actors Jang Dong-gun and Kim Ha-neul will begin its run in mid-May, according to the show's promoter 3HW on Monday.

"Dignity of a Gentleman" (translated title), which focuses on the love story of four men in their forties, will make its premiere on SBS on May 26, 3HW said in a press release. The firm also explained that Jang, along with his co-stars Kim Suro, Kim Min-jong and Lee Jong-hyuk, shot their first scene at a restaurant in Seoul over the weekend.

"It was great to see the synergy coming from these four A-list actors and they were really immersed in their characters," an official with the show was quoted as saying.

Making his comeback to the small screen in 12 years, Jang will play Kim Do-jin, a manager at a construction company, while Kim Ha-neul will star as a high school ethics teacher named Song Yi-soo. Written by "Secret Garden" scenarist Kim Eun-sook, "Gentleman" will also star actors Kim Woo-bin, Kim Jung-nam and CNBLUE's Lee Jong-hyun.
