Korean male band Shinhwa, who are gearing up for their comeback in March, will hold a concert tour throughout Asia in May.

"Shinhwa will embark on tour in Asia in May or June after completing their promotional activities in Korea," an official with Shinhwa member Jun Jin's agency Open World Entertainment told 10Asia on Thursday. The official added that they are working out the details for the Asia tour and will be visiting Japan, China and several countries in Southeast Asia.

In the meantime, multiple industry sources said today that Shinhwa will make their long-awaited four year comeback with a concert at the Olympic Park Stadium in Seoul on March 24 which also mark the 14th year since their debut.

Shinhwa, one of Korea's most popular boy bands since their debut in 1998 which also gained recognition overseas a few years later, had put a halt to their singing career as a six-man band in March 2008 to pursue individual activities and join the military to complete the two-year duty required of all Korean men. While Eric, Kim Dong-wan, Jun Jin and Andy have fulfilled their military duties and Shin Hye-sung is exempt from serving his duties for medical reasons, Lee Min-woo will be discharged from his post next month.

Since then, Eric has been working on his acting career, Kim Dong-wan has starred in musicals and TV series, Jun Jin has performed at his joint concert with The Boss and X-5 and Andy has visited several countries in Asia for his fan meetings.
