KARA's new DVD maintains No. 1 spot on Japan's Oricon's chart

A new DVD, featuring Korean girl group KARA, has stayed in the No. 1 spot for two days straight on Oricon's chart, according to its chart on Friday.

KARA's DVD titled "KARA'S ALL ABOUT BEAUTY," released in book format in Korea, has placed first on Oricon's daily DVD category for two consecutive days since going on sale in the country on October 12. "KARA'S ALL ABOUT BEAUTY" features various beauty tips from the girls about inner beauty, skin care, make-up, hair, perfume and body care for women in their teens and twenties.

In the meantime, the girls' fifth Japanese single "Winter Magic" made its debut atop six online music charts including ringtone website Recochoku, iTunes Japan and MORA after it was released online on Wednesday while the album will be revealed the following week.

KARA, composed of members Gu Hara, Han Seung-yeon, Park Gyu-lee, Kang Ji-young and Nicole, is currently one of the most successful Korean girl groups to break into the Japanese market. Locally, the girls have wrapped up promoting their latest dance tune "STEP," from their third full-length album of the same name, and have taken wins on televised music programs.
