Singer and actor Jang Keun-suk will release his first single album in Japan today, announced his agency Tree J. Company the same day.

According to a press release by Tree J., Jang will release his debut single “Let Me Cry” which has been postponed for over a month since the March 11 earthquake that has devastated the eastern part of the country. The album, to be released in both a limited and regular version, had taken the No. 1 and 2 spots, respectively, on the weekly pre-order charts of popular online music retailer HMV in late January of this year and received over 150,000 pre-orders.

The regular version will contain songs "Let me cry,” “Bye Bye Bye,” and “Oh my darling!” while the latter will contain “Let me cry,” “Bye Bye Bye,” and “一?につくったメロディ (Melody made together)” along with a video showing the process of the album's recording and jacket-making.

In the mean time, a re-adapted film version of Jang’s 2009 hit drama “He’s Beautiful” (2009) is set to premiere in 60 theaters nationwide starting next Friday. Jang, as one of the hottest Hallyu star in the country, is also advertising Korean traditional alcoholic beverage “Suntory Seoul Makgeolli” and a cosmetic brand “Nature Republic” in Japan.

He has also been promoting his big screen remake of a film based on Japanese manga "きみはペット" (You’re My Pet)” and over the weekend, kicked off his Asia tour that will cover Taiwan, Hong Kong, Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia and other countries.
