SM Entertainment's final concerts for their world tour, which had originally been set for early April in Japan, has been rescheduled to September.

A press release by SM said on Wednesday that the "SMTOWN LIVE in TOKYO SPECIAL EDITION," featuring all of SM's artists including BoA, Super Junior, Girls' Generation, SHINee, and f(x), will take place at Tokyo's prestigious Tokyo Dome on September 3 and 4. The concerts were supposed to take place on April 9 and 10 but were postponed in consideration of Japan being engaged in various post-quake recovery efforts.

The April shows themselves had been organized additionally by SM for the response they received for their Japan concert in January, originally the last leg to their 2010 world tour.

The tour had attracted tens of thousands of fans since its kickoff in Seoul in late August and the show in Los Angeles placed at No. 10 on the U.S. Billboard Boxcore chart for the number of concertgoers and ticket sales. Founded by former singer Lee Soo-man in 1995, SM Entertainment is one of the most influential entertainment agencies in the country alongside YG and JYP Entertainment.
