Korean trio JYJ members have belatedly been found to have undergone physical examination for the military, according to their agency C-Jes Entertainment on Thursday.

An official from C-Jes said, "The three members received their physical examinations with the Military Manpower Administration on Monday but they will not be entering the military this year." According to Korean law, all men must serve in the miliary for two years as part part of fulfilling their mandatory duties.

The official went onto to explain that they are waiting on the results and that Yuchun may get a re-examination since he has asthma.

Meanwhile, JYJ recently announced their plans to hold a fan meeting next month at the Jamsil Indoor Stadium for fans who have signed up for the C-Jes member system. JYJ, formed of Jaejoong, Yuchun and Junsu, made their debut in 2004 as part of popular boy band TVXQ, but despite their phenomenal success in Asia, they ceased their activities as a group after becoming involved in a legal dispute with the Korean agency SM Entertainment.

They made their comeback to the music scene in October of last year as a trio under the name JYJ and released their record in mid-October after which they held a global showcase and held their first concert as JYJ.
