KBS series “Dream High” stood the champion among primetime dramas for Mondays and Tuesdays for the fourth consecutive week, according to data by two main media research firms on Wednesday.

“Dream High,” about the dreams and challenges idol-wannabes face, posted an average viewership rating of 16.6 percent on Total National Media Research’s (TNmS) listing and 17.7 percent on AGB Nielsen Media Research’s (AGB) poll, showing about a two percent rise from last week. This week’s episodes showed the usually cheerful and innocent Song Sam-dong (played by Kim Soo-hyun) transform into a dark character after being told he will gradually lose his hearing and witnessing his crush Ko Hye-mi (Bae Suzy) and Jin-guk (Ok Taecyeon) kissing during a school trip to Japan.

SBS’ spy thriller “Athena,” whose rating has been on a steady decline for the past several weeks, improved by about two percent as well, yielding an average viewership rating of 13.1 percent on TNmS’ chart and 15.5 percent AGB’s findings.

Starring Jung Woo-sung, Soo Ae, Cha Seung-won and E Ji-ah, the drama deals with the fights between agents of the National Anti-Terrorist Service (NTS) and terrorist group Athena. In this week’s episode, Lee Jung-woo (Jung) vows to take on a revenge on Athena’s leader Sohn Hyuk (Cha) for the death of his colleague Park Sung-chul (Lee Han-wi) while Sohn, who got betrayed by his former colleague Hye-in (Soo Ae), promises exactly the same for NTS.

Meanwhile, MBC’s new series “The Duo” which follows the drama “Queen of Reversals,” opened its first week with an average viewership rating of 9.7 percent on TNmS’ survey and 15.5 percent on AGB’s chart.

Starring Chun Jung-myung, Lee Sang-yoon, Han Ji-hye and Seo Hyun-jin, "The Duo" is a historical drama set around the time of late Joseon Dynasty (1392-1910) where two men become comrades to reform a corrupt society.

The first episode featured ambitious slave woman Mak-soon switching her baby Chun-dung (Lee Sang-yoon) with her master’s son Gwi-dong to assure better future for her son, sealing the fate of the two main leads. The following episode made a 15-year time leap to show how the boys have grown so far, one as a son of prestigious Kim family and the other, a lowly slave boy.
