Kara jumps to the top of Mnet music chart

Five-member girl group Kara has jumped to the No. 1 spot on the Mnet singles chart with their new single "Lupin."

The title track from their third mini album rose six slots on the singles chart to take its first win for the final week of February. The girls, who released their mini album of the same name as their title track early last week, started promoting their song by making a comeback on televised music shows including KBS' weekly music show "Music Bank" on Friday and SBS' "Inkigayo" on Sunday.

2AM was pushed back to second place with their song "I Can't Let You Go" and Girls' Generation's "Oh!" dropped a spot to round off the top three singles.

Meanwhile, Girls' Generation's second album "Oh!" was crowned the bestselling record for the third consecutive week. 2AM's first full-length album "I Can't Let You Go" and T-ara's "Absolute First Album" held their second and third place rankings, respectively.
