Lee Jun-ki's "Hero" premiere pushed back

The premiere date for actor Lee Jun-ki's new drama "Hero" has been pushed back by a week, according to its broadcaster on Friday.

A producer at MBC told 10Asia over the phone that the Wednesday and Thursday series will air starting November 18, instead of November 11.November 18 was when "Hero" had originally been set to air but the date had been pulled up after drama "No Limit" wrapped up early after suffering from ratings between three to five percent.

But "Hero" only went into shoot properly starting yesterday after replacing actress Kim Min-jung with Yoon So-yi two days ago. Kim pulled out from the drama over an arm condition which kept her from shooting.

"Hero" will star 27-year-old Lee who became a household name in 2005 playing a woman-like clown in the hit film "The King and the Clown" and was recently voted the most popular Korean Wave star in China. He will play the role of a passionate reporter working for a third-rate magazine in the drama, about a group of youngsters who rebel and fight against a corrupt society.
