IU's agency to debut 6-member girl group

A new six-member girl group will make their debut next month under the management of Korea's talent agency Loen Entertainment.

Loen, which also manages the careers of songstress IU and SunnyHill, told the magazine on Thursday that it will introduce a new girl group named FIESTA in August.

The reps described FIESTA as a multinational group composed of Korean and Chinese members, and a few of Korean members are told to have grown up in the United States.

The firm explained in a press release this morning that each member has received four years of training and officially began preparing to debut as FIESTA two years ago.

The group name FIESTA is the Spanish word for 'festival' and the agency named the group to deliver festival-like energy to the listeners of their music.

Revealing a photo of Jei, the leader, Loen officials noted that photos of other five members will be released next week.
