Korean female idols 4minute will make a comeback to the local music scene with a new album in February, according to their agency on Friday.
"The girls are currently preparing for their upcoming album, recording and practicing for their return. We don’t have a set release date but we are planning for sometime around mid-February," a PR official from Cube Entertainment explained to 10Asia over the phone.
4minute, composed of members Ji-hyun, Ga-yoon, Hyun-a and So-hyun, made their debut in Korea with the single "Hot Issue" in 2009.
They were the first K-pop girl group to branch out into the Japanese market in early May, producing three Japanese singles "Muzik," "I My Me Mine" and "First." The group's first full-length album "DIAMOND" was released in early December.
