FTIsland Reveals Recent Break-up Stories

K-pop boy band FTIsland has opened up about their past break-up stories.

FTIsland's basist Lee Jae-jin and the leader Choi Jong-hoon shared stories about their former girlfriends on KBS' music talk show "Yu Huiyeol's Sketchbook" set to air Friday, KBS PR officials said in a press release Thursday.

In response to Yu Huiyeol’s question about which member recently got out of a relationship, all members pointed at member Lee Jae-jin.

Lee explained briefly that the reason why he broke up with his ex-girlfriend is because she had complained about being in a relationship with him and was told she was not happy anymore.

Additionally, member Choi Jong-hoon was chosen for having experienced the most pitiful break-up. Confessing with a bit of anger, Choi said his former girlfriend was out of contact after throwing her birthday party.

Proving their sincere friendship, the quintet said they often talk about how their love life is going with a dose of alcohol.

The shooting for the episode was taped Tuesday at KBS' Public Hall in Yeoido, Seoul, where they put on the first comeback performance of "I Wish."

The pop-rock tune is the title of their fourth effort, "FIVE TREASURE BOX," dropped on September 10.

The officials said the band kept lighting up the stage with acoustic version of "Love Love Love" and “LIFE,” composed by member Choi and written by frontman Lee Hong-gi.

FTIsland--consisted of Lee Hong-gi, Choi Jong-hoon, Song Seung-hyun, Choi Min-hwan and Lee Jae-jin--broke into the local music scene with their first full-length album "Cheerful Sensibility" in 2007.

The boys have been focusing on their promotional activities for new albums in Japan and individual activities on TV.
