Korean actor Lee Min-ho will be standing alongside Hollywood stars Angelina Jolie, George Clooney and Audrey Hepburn at the coveted Madame Tussaud Museum.
The actor has been set to be exhibited as a wax figure at Madame Tussaud Museum in Shanghai, after getting recognized as a famous Korean celebrity causing a big wave of Korean pop culture boom by the museum staffs, Starhaus Entertainment said.
"We have to conduct a thorough analysis of a person before creating their wax replica," an official from Madame Tussaud was quoted as saying.
Founded by famous wax sculptor Marie Tussaud, known as Madame Tussaud, the popular tourist attraction was first established in London and has branched out to major cities including New York, Hong Kong and Los Angeles.
Lee shot to stardom with KBS' "Boys Over Flowers" in 1999, and has been one of the most popular Korean actors in Asia. He has starred in other hit TV series such as MBC's "Personal Taste" in 2010 and SBS' action series "City Hunter" the following year.
He is currently starring in SBS' new Monday and Tuesday series "The Great Doctor" opposite actress Kim Hee-seon.
