Shinhwa to release new edition of “THE RETURN”

K-pop group Shinhwa will release a new edition of their album “THE RETURN” in mid-April, their agency Shinhwa Company told 10Asia in a phone interview on Monday.

Shinhwa’s “Thanks Edition" is being released to show the members' appreciation for their fans after moving over 30,000 copies of their "THE RETURN," since its release on March 23.

An official from the company said that they will start taking reservations for the album through online record shops in Korea, starting today.

The “Thanks Edition” will be packaged in a white box with a new logo of the group on the cover, with a 70-page photo book of Shinhwa.

Shinhwa, composed of Kim Dong-wan, Lee Min-woo, Shin Hye-sung, Andy, Eric and Jun Jin , broke into the music scene as one of the earliest idol groups to make their debut in Korea with the debut album “Trouble-setter” in 1998.

Upon their comeback in late March, the boys held the 14th anniversary concert, "2012 SHINHWA GRAND TOUR IN SEOUL 'THE RETURN',” on March 25, and have been recording for their own televised program, “Shinhwa Broadcasting,” on a cable network.

With a satisfying result with the album’s promotion in the country, Shinhwa is scheduled to launch their Asia tour that goes around Taipei, China, Japan and Singapore starting April 30.
