MBC TV series "Pink Lipstick", starring Hallyu star Park Eun-hye, has been sold to a television network in Taiwan, according to Korean broadcaster MBC on Tuesday.
The daily morning drama, which premiered in Korea last month, was sold for USD 8,000 dollars per each 60-minute episode to Taiwan's GTV. The price is nearly double the amount MBC morning series "White Lies" had previously sold to GTV for.
He further credited "Park's great portrayal of the main character and strong storyline" as the strengths of the show.
The 32-year-old actress rose to fame throughout Asia in 2003 with a supporting role in hit MBC TV series "Jewel in the Palace", which starred top Korean actress Lee Young-ae.
Her previous dramas "Jewel in the Palace" and "Yi San" have also aired on Japan's NHK TV.
