Korean actor Park Si-hoo has confirmed his role in a new romantic drama, opposite actress Moon Geun-young.
Park has decided to return to the small screen as the male lead in SBS' upcoming weekend drama "Alice of Cheongdam-dong" [translated title], his agency Eyagi Entertainment said in a press release Monday.
"Alice of Cheongdam-dong," shot in one of the richest neighborhood in Seoul, will pivot around an ordinary woman named Han Se-kyung [played by Moon] who struggles to become a wealthy family’s daughter-in-law.
Penned by named writing duo Kim Ji-woon and Kim Jin-hee of "Queen Seon-duk" (MBC, 2009) and "Deep Rooted Tree" (SBS, 2012), the series will fill up the weekend primetime zone as the follow-up to Ju Ji-hoon's "Five Finger" in December.
His big screen debut thriller “Confession of Murder” co-starring actor Jung Jae-young is scheduled to hit local theaters in November.
