Park Yuchun to Return to Small Screen with New MBC Drama

Korean heartthrob Park Yuchun has confirmed his role in MBC's new Wednesday and Thursday drama.

Park has signed on to play the male lead in “I Miss You” [translated title], Park’s agency C-Jes Entertainment said in press release Tuesday.

The singer and actor will portray his character named Han Jeong-woo, a detective with cheerful character and passion for his job. Though he appears to be an outgoing person, the detective lives with a broken heart from his first crush.

Penned by scriptwriter Moon Hee-jung of "Listen To My Heart" (MBC, 2011), child actors Yeo Jin-goo and Kim So-hyun of MBC's 2012 hit drama “Moon Embracing the Sun" will play the main characters' will play the younger days of the main characters.

However, it has been known that the female lead has yet to be decided and is still in negotiations with a few candidates.
The melo drama will fill up the MBC's Wednesday and Thursday primetime slot in November after “Tale of Arang” wraps up its run.

Park Yuchun, a member of K-pop male group JYJ, proved his popularity as one of the leading Hallyu stars through his latest work SBS' “Rooftop Prince." The TV series was a huge hit not only in Korea but also in South Asian regions early this year.
