Korean actress Kim Jung-hwa will return to the big screen after being out of the spotlight for about two years.
Her agency 4HIM Entertainment told the magazine Thursday that Kim has been cast as one of the female leads in “Queen of the Silver Screen” [translated title] and attended her first shooting for the short film in Paju, Gyeonggi Province on August 29.
While the opening date has yet to be determined, the firm explained that Kim has decided to join the project after being attracted by the story and the fact that it is being produced into a 3D.
Kim Jung-hwa kicked off her acting career as one of the female leads in MBC’s sitcom “Nonstop 2” and expanded her acting area into the big screen by starring in “Spy Girl” (2004), “No Regret” (2006) and “Read My Lips” (2010).
