Son Tae-young to walk runway at fashion show in China

Korean actress Son Tae-young, wife of Hallyu star Kwone Sang-woo, will grace the catwalk at one of the biggest fashion shows in China.

Son was chosen to strut the runway as the only Korean model at the Tokyo Girls Collection, which is set to take place in Shanghai, China on September 8, according to her agency J.One+ Entertainment Thursday.

Under the theme 'Urban Chic,' the fashionista will display her fashion sense donning the clothes of famed Korean stylist Jeong Yun-ki, who has put together outfits for A-list stars such as Jang Dong-gun, Go So-young, Kim Hye-soo, Cha Seung-won and Lee Byung-hun.

Meanwhile, Son will share the runway with famous Japanese models Masuwaka Tsubasa and Kagami Seira as well as Chinese top model AYUKI.

Son, who made first public appearance through a beauty pageant in 2000, has built her acting career in several TV series and movies until she married Kwone Sang-woo in 2008.

After she gave a birth to her son Luke next year, Son has been the emcee on the fashion-based cable channel Fashion N's talk show “Actress House - Season 2” since 2011.
