KBS officials have spilled the beans that two main female characters will show some fierce battle to fight for actor Song Joong-ki's love in the upcoming drama "Nice Guy."

The TV series' promoter YTree Media revealed snap shots of the lead actresses, Moon Chae-won and Park Si-yeon, displaying palpable tension between each other in a gym.

“Every time the two actresses are shooting their scenes together, there’s some kind of a strange tension and atmosphere that makes all staffs quiet. The two heroine’s acting as rivals of a guy are fascinating,” a rep from the show’s production company was quoted as saying.

"Nice Guy," which is actor Song's new small screen project in nine months, centers around Kang Ma-roo [played by Song], a smart medical student getting burned by the love of his life, Han Jae-hee [played by Park], a former journalist turning into a big conglomerate’s C.E.O’s wife.

After getting emotionally hurt from the relationship, Kang transforms from a nice guy to a bad one. To get his revenge on Han, he uses Seo Eun-ki [played by Moon], who struggles to get recognized her father to become the successor of a family-owned conglomerate.
Written by scenarist Lee Kyung-hee of "I'm Sorry, I Love You" (KBS, 2004), the cast of "Nice Guy" also includes actor and TV personality Lee Kwang-soo of "City Hunter" (SBS, 2011), actor Lee Sang-yeob of "Midas" (SBS, 2011).

The romantic drama will hit the airwaves on September 12, filling the Wednesday and Thursday primetime slot as KBS’ action drama “Bridal Mask” is seeing its grand final in three weeks.
