K-pop legend Shinhwa is flying to China later this month to open the sixth leg of the group's ongoing Asia tour, "2012 SHINHWA GRAND TOUR 'THE RETURN'."
Shinhwa members, who just performed before some 5,000 fans in Singapore over the weekend, is flying to China to hold the concert at the Guangti Gymnasium in Guangzhou, China on June 30, Shinhwa Company said in a press release Monday.
"We're receiving countless inquires regarding the tour in the region and the members are all pleasantly surprised by the overwhelming love from fans all over in Asia. As much as we're receiving much attention and love from people, we'll continue to present wonderful performances for the rest of the tour," a Shinhwa Company official was quoted as saying.
Shinhwa, which is often referred to 'the first generation of K-pop idol groups,' kicked off their large-scale tour in Shanghai, China on April 30.
Composed of Shin Hye-sung, Lee Min-woo, Andy, Eric, Kim Dong-wan and Jun Jin, Shinhwa made their debut with the first full-length album “Trouble-setter" in 1998.
