Korean romance pic "Introduction to Architecture" has once again beat its competitors to score its third consecutive win on the local box office.
"Introduction to Architecture" notched the highest ticket sales after bringing in 454,430 moviegoers during the weekend of April 6 to 8, the KOBIS (Korean Box Office Information System) showed.
The romance pic, which has warmed the hearts of many, tells the story of an architect named Sung-min (Uhm) reuniting with his first love Seo-yeon (Han). Sung-min rebuilds her house in Jeju Island after she intentionally asks for his help in order to get back with him.
The film traces back to when both were freshmen in college, in which the younger versions are played by Bae and Lee. The two soulmates first meet in college at an architecture 101 course and Sung-min instantly falls in love with his first love.
The top three are then followed by "Over My Dead Body," "Wrath of the Titans," "Titanic 3D," "Helpless," "Conan the Barbarian," "Space Dogs 3D" and "The Scent."
