A new comedy flick starring actor Lee Sun-kyun and actress Lim Soo-jung has been slated to premiere in local theaters in May.
The romantic comedy movie, tentatively titled “All About My Wife,” is poised to make its debut on May 17, which comes in seven months after the movie began its shooting in November last year, according to the movie’s promoters 1stLook on Thursday.
Lee, an experienced actor in both the small and big screens, plays Doo-hyun who hires a Casanova to attract his wife Jung-in, played by Lim, just to make it easier for him to break up with whom he believes is the 'worst-wife-ever.'
Actor Ryu Seung-ryeong, whose notable works include “Arrow” (2011), took on the role of the Casanova who tries to charm Jung-in with Doo-hyun’s request.
“All About My Wife” is helmed by director Min Kyu-dong from "All For Love" (2005), "Antique" (2008) and "The Last Blossom" (2011).
He has won various accolades after starring in the critically acclaimed film "Paju" (2009) and "OKI'S MOVIE" (2010).
Meanwhile, Lim has appeared in numerous dramas and movies since her debut earlier than Lee in 1998 including the hit TV drama "I'm Sorry, I Love You" (KBS2, 2004) and films "A Tale of Two Sisters" (2003) and blockbuster fantasy "WOOCHI" (2009) opposite Korean actor Gang Dong-won.
She followed it up with the movie “Come Rain, Come Shine” (2010), which led her to join a number of international film festivals including 61st Berlin International Film Festival.
