Korean actress Kang Hye-jung and actor Lee Gyu-han have been cast in an upcoming cable TV series, according to a press release from the show's promoter CJ E&M.
CJ E&M said Kang and Lee have been selected to play the leads in the series tentatively titled "The Wedding Scheme," which will air in April after current series "Shut Up and Let's Go" finishes its run.
Lee will play the role of Lee Gang-jae who becomes a roommate of Yoon while the two slowly develop a relationship.
Kang made her debut as a magazine model in 1997 and led a successful career on the silver screen with notable works in "Old Boy" (2003) and “Welcome to Dongmakgol” (2005).
"The Wedding Scheme" is also the second drama for actor Lee this year since starring in SBS' weekend series "When Tomorrow Comes," which began its run in October 2011.
